Another of the Chaos Knight series. The first being the Lord of War, this one is Death Mask. Again i'm telling, this is a very, very old picture. So it's a bit dirty.

History:
For most people in his village, Vien La Raguolle is a the pesky little thief that they would be more then happy to get rid off. What they didn't know though, was that Vien was a child of a drunkard gambling father with a robbing prostitute (who raped him when he was 6), and brother to an abusive elder sister and brother.

There is only one thing that keep his sanity intact: his love for his little sister. At his tenth birthday, in one unfortunate attempt to steal food, he was caught, and beaten almost to death by the angry mob and put to jail for a week. Somehow, he survived, only to find, at home, that his parents had vented out their twisted behavior at his little sister. When he found her, she was broken, remnants of what's left of her past self. The last vestige of sanity was taken away from him. And like every other incarnation, the power of Chaos Knight awoke.

Later in the night that follows, he mutilated everyone in his family, except his sister, reduced them to being a bloody whimpering bodies on the floor. Yet, mabe because of the chaos power or his own perversion, they're still alive. And when they begged for mercy, Vien's reply was simple: burn them alive along with their house to the ground. The villagers, having seen the whole event, searched for the survivors. Vien made no attempt to conceal himself, nor hid the truth of what he had done. When brought to the court, his defense was simple: "I enjoyed it."

Vien became the first child ever to receive a death sentence. However, the sensation of the true death was enough for him. He was reborn, 10 years later, having sucked all the souls that died, as the Mask of Death. Absorbing souls of any creature that died by natural deaths or forcibly (as in murdered), the Death Mask can actually grow stronger indefinitely with every soul he kills. However, as a retribution, he will feel the pain of their deaths. But given Vien was totally mad, he enjoyed in the pain.

Contrary to Fllahn, Vien was the one most contempt of being a Chaos Knight. In fact, it was as if he revelled in the joy of it. When Hell asked him to come, he received their invitation without a second thought. But even for Hell, his madness is too dangerous. Consuming souls of both man and demons alike. The Deathmask was prone to outburst of unexplainable rage, killing anything that's alive for the fun of it, and often hounded with a sadomasochistic compulsions.

Despite all his madness though, one thing that doesn't change was his care for his sister, the sole survivor of the murdering of their family. In fact, only around his sister that Vien can act and think sane. He would went so far as to went rampage in Heaven only to make sure his sister, who grown to be a wanted thief, are put away from Hell, for he doesn't want his sister to suffer the same pain as he did.

Vundiva! I really like that you gave him a weakness really. It would provide for a great hero-villain scene...

As far as the picture goes, you could have done something with the cape in the front. It looks more like it's just angled off rather than blowing in the wind.

I like this guy too, but what's the real time period this is shooting for?
